The Chow Down: A 1-3 day intensive course depending on how much you want to learn.
DAY 1: The Munchies. Snacking on the run. Meals out and about.
In DAY 1 we go for a walkabout. You'll take me to your favorite
supermarkets, shops and food stores and learn about reading
labels. You'll learn which foods are hot, which are not and why.
After that we cover more details on the food groups dispelling
myths and all the contradictions out there. You will also learn
how to make a baseline eating plan. At the end of the lesson
we review everything and you'll take a questionnaire to make
sure you understand all that we covered.
DAY 2: What shall I eat today? In DAY 2 you'll learn about listening to the
body and understanding the signals other wise known as cravings.
We also discover how to prevent or get rid of illness's and aches
using natural foods and fluids. You'll learn how to plan meals de-
pending on your day to day activities. I will breakdown every food
group so that you understand what you are putting in your body
and why. At the end of the lesson we review everything and you'll
fill out a questionnaire to make you understand all that we covered.
DAY 3: What's cookin'?! Food doesn't have to be bland to be healthy.
In DAY 3 you'll learn healthy ways to make delicious food. You'll
learn to make beautiful, colorful dishes that can be prepared in
no time and how to mix and match flavors for you, friends and
family to enjoy. You'll also learn the do's and don't in the kitchen
when preparing and cooking meals. At the end of the lesson you'll
create a nutrient packed recipe for me to judge and you'll be that
more confident in what you put in your body.
